School Council

In Christ Church School Council, there are two representatives for each class. Every year different people are elected by students.
We often meet to discuss ideas which have been raised by children about the school.

Our school council is also involved in interviewing prospective members of staff including our Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher!

In March 2007, OFSTED said that "councillors are confident that their suggestions to improve the school are listened to and acted upon"

Recent initiatives are:

• Interviewing candidates for the Deputy Head's post
• Gathering views on playground improvements
